Rum made in American oak bourbon barrels (first use), from a blend of different Dominican rums. It features aromas of citrus fruits and oak. Aged for 6 years in bourbon barrels, but not filtered with charcoal. Distinguishable on the nose are aromas of vanilla, butter, candied peel and brandied cherries which excite the senses. The palate is sweet, but still drier than molasses-based rum.
